FSFA — Fundação São Francisco de Assis

A technical, non-profit organization serving the public interest since 1989.

Who we are

The São Francisco de Assis Foundation (FSFA) — officially the São Francisco de Assis Biodiversity Support Foundation — is a non-profit civil society organization founded in 1989 in Rio de Janeiro and recognized as a public-interest entity since 2000, renewed in 2011.

We structure and deliver projects, partnerships and solutions for sustainable development, combining scientific knowledge, efficient management and social commitment — with measurable impact for society, the environment and public and private organizations.

Our technical capacity covers resource management, strategic modeling, environmental sustainability, emissions reduction, socioeconomic development and urban and regional planning — including the Technology Innovation Center (FSFA-CIT), focused on education, entrepreneurship and artificial intelligence.
